How do I get to the venue?

The easiest way is to take a taxi to Bratislavský hrad and ask the driver to drop you off at the underground public garage Garáž Hrad. From there, it’s a short and easy walk with minimal stairs. Just exit near the garage elevators, and you’ll see signs that will guide you the rest of the way. If you don’t mind a short walk uphill and want to enjoy a bit of the castle surroundings, you can also ask the driver to take you to Zámocká 811 01. From there, you’ll walk through part of the castle grounds before reaching the orangerie. Either way works—just choose based on how much walking you’re up for! :) We recommend using taxi apps such as Uber, Bolt, or the Hopin app. If you’re arriving by public transport, the nearest bus stop is called Hrad, located at Hrad, 811 03 Bratislava, Slovakia. From there, it’s just a short walk to the venue.

Is there parking available?

Yes—there is parking available at the underground public garage Garáž Hrad. That said, we recommend taking a taxi so everyone can relax and enjoy the celebration to the fullest!

Dresscode and What to Expect?

Dresscode - The dress code is Black Tie. We’ve shared a color palette on the website and your invitation—feel free to use it as inspiration when choosing your outfit.

We’d love to see everyone lean into the colors… and ladies, let’s try to avoid black dresses if possible. And one more important note: we all know that Natalia loves pink :)

Setting: The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. Dinner and party will be indoors.

Weather: The evening should be pleasantly warm, (no jinxing!) though a light layer is always a good idea.

Ground & access: There are cobblestones around the castle grounds, but within the garden venue itself there are very few stairs and no cobblestones.

Shoes (ladies): High heels of course! But feel free to bring a pair of comfortable shoes to change into later—there will be a place where you can leave them once it’s time to dance.

Yes! We can’t wait to dance with you all night long—so get your party shoes ready!

Live band or DJ?

Both! We’ll have a live band as well as a DJ!

Any traditions we should know about?

There will be a few traditions we’ll be honoring… but we’d like to keep those as a surprise.

Will the party go late?

Absolutely. We plan to celebrate well into the night!

Will there be wedding games?

Yes—there will be a few fun wedding games throughout the evening, and we would love for you to take part!

Language:

Our MC (host) will make sure everything is explained in English, so everyone can follow along and feel included.

Photographs and Video?

Professional photos & video:

We’ll have a professional photographer and videographer capturing the celebration. There will also be a photo corner! We’ll be happy to share the photos and video with you after the wedding.

Photos from guests:

We’d love to see the day through your eyes! We’ll share a QR code on the website that links to a Google Drive folder where you’re welcome to upload any photos or videos you take during the wedding—of anything and everything. We can’t wait to relive the day from your perspective 🤍

Food

Meat, vegetarian, vegan, and allergy-friendly options will be all available. There will be plenty of choices during the reception and buffet. For the seated dinner, we kindly ask that you get in touch with us as soon as possible to let us know your preference, so we can make sure everything is prepared just right for you.

If you’re looking to book hair or makeup in Bratislava, Natalia recommends the following.
